As 2020 gets near, I'd like to share with you my top 5 modeling agencies I think you should check out, AND their open call info. I got signed to my agency, Photogenics, when I went in for an open call. Granted, I did not get signed on the spot, lol....but I did ended up getting a meeting with the agency's director, which eventually got me an exclusive contract. I'd recommend that if you are interested in becoming a professional model, it is always best to seek representation. However, there are instances where freelancers can also become professional as well. Having an agency representation gives models a bit more credibility. It also take away the pressure of dealing with any legal matters with brands, companies, etc. Agents also can help drive a models career by sending them out to various castings, some of which a freelancer may not have access to.
